  • PnP and it was ready to go from the start. Medium in body, good acodity and tannins, good fruit as well and a classic Spanish wooden finish.

  • I noted this wine on CT June, 2019. I wanted to hold a few years longer, but I had some big sweet blackberries on hand, and this came to mind. I blended them with 1/4 cup of this, black garlic, fermented black bean sauce, black vinegar, five spice and espresso powders, cinnamon, maple syrup and crushed szechuan peppercorns to sauce pan roasted Xmas quail. Solid pairing, delicious rich high alcohol tempranillo with flavors noted earlier, and in the accurate note of Hawk94. Electric garnet color. More milk chocolate and silkier tannins than 18 months ago. This should be a point or two higher by 2025. Not my preferred style, yet still, impressive. You know, like being impressed by Turley zinfandels, without actually wanting to buy them, except maybe to remove paint from old furniture.

  • schmeckte mir schon viel besser als vor einem Monat...länger belüftet? Aber meine Flaschen zu Hause lasse ich noch 5 Jahre im Keller.

  • A very modern Ribera, inky dark purple color, perfume like fresh dark fruits, full body, powerful, but elegant and soft, with refined tannins - ultra smooth, chocolate, creamy, coffee, mocha, crushed blackberry, strawberry, plum, nuanced, balanced with just enough acidity, long after taste, delicious!
