Dark purplish red but translucent at the edge. No obvious signs of age. Legs in the glass, 13.5% alcohol.
Dark fruit nose, cherry, hit of sourness. A little farmyard, pine and greenness.
Lovely soft mouthfeel, juicy fruit to the fore, nice acidity and well integrated tannins giving structure. Persistent finish, a little sour with the greenness showing through.
Well made and shows well with many foods. Very good.

Wonderful Christmas wine! No decanting on this one.
The nose: Dark berries like plum and blackcurrant, Black cherry. There is a very strong but pleasant green touch at the end, kind of a pinetree. At the end a smoky touch but its All covered in tobacco and coffee grunds.
The palate. Dark berries again, Black cherry, plum. Very juicy. Fruit forward. A little prune also. The green expression follows in the palate.
Actually very good, well made, well balanced. A great pick for Christmas, i think. I do get that dark cloudy feeling that you're supposed to, from the syrah and the grenache is giving the wine a sweeter and brighter touch.
Its not ment for aging, but it could last 8-10 years from the vintage. A piece of art by Anne Gros & Jean-Paul!
Body medium+ Tannin medium Acidity medium.

Nose a bit muted, not that peasant, a bit of barnyard, very little fruit. But on the palate it's very fresh and lively, with a bit of greenness, but some fruit and spice. Decent, but not great.

Une bombe de fruit avec une structure bien ferme. L'équilibre est là et aucune chauffe en finale. Un vin gourmand !

Medium body. Fruity red with good acidity. A little lighter than La Ciaude, equally fine and balanced.
