49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc.
Beautifully elegant nose on black fruit mixed with leather and cedar. Racy and structured on the palate with a beautiful silky feel. The juice is very beautiful with a finish of fine tannins but still slightly astringent. Great slender length, which a beautiful balance guides from start to finish. It’s very good, although it deserves to age.

Showing a good depth of color the wine offers a rich dose of chocolate covered plums and cherries with tobacco leaf, licorice, smoke, and coffee bean. Straddling the fence between opulence and freshness, the finish hangs in there with its dusty cherries, smoke and licorice notes. Give this a decade in the cellar before popping a cork, it will be worth the wait.

For me, the best ‘17 from Graves in the price range. The rich opulent house style is smoothed out by the vintage.
This is already quite accessible and offers up sweet red and black fruit, touches of gravel, wet earth. Very enjoyable!

Amsterdam UGCB Tasting and Winemakers' Dinner (Beurs van Berlage / Eden Hotel): Trade tasting, brief note. Good weight and richness, the oak tannins are well integrated, no lack of freshness, lovely balance and a grippy finish. Nothing overdone, focused and precise, very good length.

Perfumed and elegant; smooth grainy tannins and long finish. Well integrated barrel influence. LA UGC tasting.
