Pale olive golden color with subtle bubbles. Some honeyed notes but overall crisp and very high acidity. Still young and chiseled; would benefit from a richer food accompaniment.

I forgot to grab the disgorge date. This showed well last night with apple, tangerine, saline and some good chisel to the wine. The color is touch gold but I didn't sense anything oxidative.

DG 05/2018 It's really a Chouilly wine. Ripe citrus fruits dominate the wine that for me are the Chouilly signature, a very specific bouquet of oranges, lemons, tangerines, grapefruits, kumquats; we find some pineapple as well; notes of yogurt and young cheese; chalk, wet stones and a hint of gunpowder; with some air some coconut and cocoa butter appear. The texture is juicy with lots of small creamy bubbles, the acidity assures an interesting ageing, to revisit in a couple of years. 91pt

Medium straw. Medium fine bubbles. Very tightly wound. Lime, grapefruit pith, some seashell and brine. Just a whiff of pastry on finish.
