  • I'm sure I've this vintage at least once in the past but no tasting notes? Anyway this is made 'in partnership' with Codice Citra, a bulk producer I assume. This is very typically of Monty at mid to lower price points. Stinky, gamey nose; earthy and very identifiable of the variety. Palate is earthy with muted dry fruits early but progressively opens up. Fruits gets more expressive, not fruity mind you, but reasonably accessible dry red berries and medium weight sandy tannin. Very decent length really with persistent tannin (just under 600 baht Tesco). If you like the style this will be good enough.
