Opened up in one hour. Some residual alcohol heat. dark cherry, eucalyptus, herbs, smoothes out with food. Steak with mushrooms pairing. Very enjoyable.

What happens when Somms and ITBers get together (tango sur, chicago IL): Nose: The nose is fresh, balanced, and savory with dark red cherries, raspberries, sour red fruits, licorice, spice tones, violets, and roasted herbs. There is excellent depth with a real attractive sour red fruit quality.
Taste: The feel is Medium/full bodied with tart, medium+ acidity and silky, medium+ tannins. The feel is very silky and balanced with raspberries, dark red cherries, licorice, spice notes, violets, and roasted herbs.
Overall: This is really good and on the younger side. There is excellent balance with a real savoriness as well as good depth. This could use a few more years to fully come together, but it should be on the earlier drinking side.

James Suckling - Great Wines of Italy III - 2018 (The Presidio, SF): Also seems faulted - coin polish and mousiness? Weird.
