Surprisingly light and mild, still young, but perfectly good to drink now. Good and pleasant drinker, good summer party wine, but not much more. Nothing wrong at that price, but not a surprise find either. With air, subtle notes of citrus and pepper emerge, which are quite delicious.

{screwcap, 12.5%} Pale straw. Moderately intense nose of lime juice and steely lemon. The palate is a bit watery in texture, with an initial hint of spritzy acid which fades very fast indeed, actually leaving a rather woolly impression on the palate, and adding to the sense of weight, but at the expense of freshness. Dense yet not hefty, it’s still pretty transitory on the palate, suggesting it’s not for aging, despite its dry character and sense of initial promise.

Terrific to drink. Strikingly pale. Florals, peach, passionfruit, citrus, minerality that makes me think of granite but I couldn’t tell you why, as I doubt I’ve licked granite, at least not since toddlerhood. Not much length is the only thing holding this back from higher points.

Almost clear. Bouncing vibrant Riesling - excellent drinking and QPR. Not sure it has the length to age well, but at this price worth tucking away a few bottles.
