Tasting: A light nose with toast, some oyster shell and a touch of florals. On the palate it is pretty tasty actually, with a splash of sweetness and decent acidity. No depth to it, and it's a little short but it's better than I expected and perfectly drinkable.

lemon, green leaves, some vegetal note I can't distinguish. grass clippings maybe. or even lemongrass... rather simple, but refreshing and by being Charmat, I assume it is not expensive either.

Straw-gold; quite a frothy mousse. Nice biscuitty nose, a little perfumed fruit, and a distinct honeyed aroma which I trace to the Riesling in the blend. Unfortunately the palate doesn't deliver on the promise--- a blast of overwhelming mousse and raw fruit, then slapped in the face by an intense grapefruit acidity, like chewing on pink grapefruit zest. Not faulty but out of balance.

Very fine bubbles. Aromas clearly dominated by the time on lees: ferment, bread-like, nuts. Creamy, very tasty.

Fairly light fizz, attractive, good standard offering
