By the glass. Simple and direct. More on the side of the red berries than the black ones. Lack of depth and quite short. It leaves me indifferent. It retains that neutral style of this winery.
Por copas. Simple y directo. Más del lado de las bayas rojas que de las negras. Ausencia de profundidad y bastante corto. Me deja indiferente. Conserva el estilo neutral de esta bodega.

Started drinking after a short decant. To the nose, black fruit, forest floor and very slight red meat. On the palate, flush dark fruit with good pepper (black and white). Somewhat fruit-forward like other Washington/CSM syrahs. Tannins are silky and smooth while providing good structure. Medium mouthfeel and length. Moderately complex. Alcohol is 14.8% but not noticeable. Paired well with steak. No need to drink now; however, I would within about two years.

Softened significantly in the last six years
Moderate sediment, best stood a couple of days, open a few hours to get the sweet black acidity

26% new French oak and puncheons for 22 months
Smokey black fruit, pepper, tar, very pronounced tannins, all pervasive. Powerful; a little goes a long way
