Tasted blind. Slightly advanced but still showing bright fruit aromas, well textured. When unveiled, I was surprised at how well this wine has held up for close to a decade.

i don't recall ever buying this (maybe garagiste?), but it's been in my fridge for years. and never seemed to want to open it. figured wtf tonight and cracked it. seemed interesting for a few minutes but after about 10 minutes it had a strange rancid aftertaste and was dominated by alcohol and petrol smells. so, drink up i guess.

Lovely nose of crisp lemon and minerals. Delicious rich orange peel and lemon/grapefruit. Completely dry. My wife liked it and she’s not a Riesling fan but I think the screaming acidity swayed her. I think the wine would be better with a little RS. Pricey at $25 but a good wine.

Very dry, light, and crisp. There were pear and citrus (mainly lemon) aromas that were not a pronounced as I expected. A nice wine for a warm evening on the deck that is drinking well now.

Still drinking surprisingly nice, comes across like an aged German Riesling with no residual sugar. Impressive!
