PnP, chilled. Will not be confused with any European version of this varietal. After a pleasant nose of lychee, the medium to minus bodied palate showed very light doses of fruit (peach & apricot), and spice, along with some citrus. A rather underwhelming version of Gewurztraminer.

Yakima Valley, Flying M Farms Vineyard; 13.0% alcohol, screw top, fast legs, transparent yellow; nose of fruit fragrance & alcohol, tasted at ca 17 degrees C one hour after opening, not vinturied; still young, notes of pears, Meyer lemons, fast finish, pair with formaticum (hard cheese); better to cellar it and try it again in a couple of years

8/23/2018 - jmcmchi Likes this wine:
Light orange spice with lemon-rind bitterness on the nose
Attractive dryness, texture not showing much oak despite the name; spice and citrus peel, nice acidity, tingle on finish
Pretty good stuff
