Pale yellow. Intense aromas of lemon and orange peel, wet stone and spice. The framing oak is subtle. Good stuffing with taut acidity. A lean, elegant style of Puligny in a wine that seems to be drinking at peak right now.

Full flavored tropical and stone fruits with some spice and a touch of citrus to provide some acidity. It's good but I'm not sorry it was my only bottle.

Well, 8 years has got to be about my favourite age for white burgundies at this level. I've had this several times, but this bottle is now in perfect tension of pineapple fruit, acidity, nuttiness, toastiness and the merest hint of oxidation. Mineral/gunflint tones are in the background. The colour is still lovely and bright, light gold. The weight and length are both medium. It might lack the ultimate force or personality of a great wine, but a delicious drink nonetheless. I won't hold my last bottle for more than one year--two max. NB--from quite a cool cellar.

Consistent with previous note. Keeping this more than 6-12 months could see it start to deteriorate. Delicious at present.
