This review will be a little more thorough than the one a few weeks ago, since to night it's the ONLY wine and a few weeks ago it was the second (okay, maybe third) bottle of the night.
Initial nose, gamey! A bit of barnyard, and hints of forest floor. On the tongue it's medium bodied, fresh (as noted before) but also tannic! A definitely chewy wine! Red and blue fruits, a bit of caramel. Feels primary and built for a bit more cellaring. Drink or Hold.

After import and local taxes, a nice wine at this price point. Tough to beat local Italy Ripasso. Can get some really nice stuff

Ok but not impressed. It never really opened up and it was thin and too young. I’ll pass.
