Dark garnet in color, this wine has a nose of cassis, vanilla and a bit of fungi. Decanted an hour. Silky smooth across the palate with subtle oak, berries, tobacco and vanilla.

Pnp. Huge nose. Smells amazing. Red and blue fruits. Massive oak still. Very extracted and concentrated. Improved as the night night went on. Very long finish. I think the fruit forwardness and dry finish that I love about sheridan actually fades.

Double decant. Concentrated blackcurrant. Pencil lead. Spicy. Oak influence still a bit overwhelming. Med-Long finish. A ridiculously great pairing with filets and sautéed mushrooms. A delicious wine but not nearly as good as the 2014.

(Sheridan Vineyard Block 1 Cabernet Sauvignon) Hello friends. It’s becoming an all too familiar story—a knock-out Washington winery that has to move (almost) entirely into a presale model. It’s what happens to a well-loved brand when they receive a decade of 95-99point reviews from Jeb Dunnuck. And that’s exactly what has happened to Sheridan. Sheridan’s Singularity Syrah and Block 1 Cabernet have become such review darlings that now, for the second year in a row, we have to offer them pre-sale without our own tasting notes. However, when it comes to descriptions, the reviews below will more than suffice. There are three wines offered in total today, a collection that represents the breadth of Scott Greer’s vigneron excellence. From prices in the twenties to north of a hundy, varieties ranging from Bordeaux to Rhone, these wines always represent fine value for the tag. Let’s dive in:Arguments can be made for other varieties, but at Full Pull, we view Scott Greer’s deepest farming and winemaking expertise through the prism of Cabernet Sauvignon. He produces three different Cabernets under the Sheridan label, and this is the creme de la creme Cab. It comes from the original 1997 planting at Sheridan Vineyard. Smoke, black pepper and espresso on the nose, rich and full bodied on the palate with ripe black cherry and currants. Long finish
