  I managed to guess Vosne-Romanée here, such is the richesse and generousity of this wine - true to the 2017 vintage. Smooth, elegant, sexy fruit, and while layers will be added in the coming years no doubt, this is hard to resist; smooth sailing with a creamy texture and no hard edges.

  2017 #CoquardLoisonFleurot #exhezeaux Med/med+ body with silky, oak influenced mouthfeel. Spice, creamy dark red raspberries, subtle green strawberry and no overt vanilla from the oak (although I wonder with air is it coming out more?). Delicate med/med+ acidity. Ever so slightly rustic on the finish. Very approachable. Very young, but spice on palate adds some complexity. 93.

  It has both immediate and lifted floral and red cherry aromas. On the palate, it has layers of red fruit, asian spices, earthiness, minerality and floral flavours. With some air, it gains considerable depth and intensity. It is silky smooth on the palate, and the finish is admirably long. Good effort for vintage

  PNP into Riedel Burgundy glass (“Flower” day): Pale purplish ruby to the eyes.
  
  Some sense of green which provides a good floral lift in my view. Purplish berries. Clear oak influence but pretty well integrated.
  
  Again clear oak influence on palate. Good clean finish.
  
  93-94 points especially for such a young wine.

  PoB - Burgundy 2017 En Primeur (Hong Kong): Walkabout tasting, only brief impressions. I liked this the most in the line up. Elegant, fragrant palate, high pitched with red fruit.
