  P: Same simple notes as the nose. Medium intensity on the palate, with a little grapefruit pith bitterness on the finish and so some skin tannin on this which is typical of the grape.
  Dry, med + acid, med alcohol, medium body, medium length and medium (+) intensity,
  C: The wine is simple and so clearly not complex but does show a purity of fruit. There is a fine balance between the concentration of fruit and the acidity but the wine lacks length. Its a good quality wine but greater concentration and a longer finish deny it a higher quality rating.

  Light lemon yellow color. Young and refreshing. Nose has green apple, pineapple, ripe fig and almond paste. Palate is bright with acidity and mostly tropical fruit along with some melon and good minerality. Better with some air and warmed up to slightly above cellar temp. Pleasant but seems to me that it may have some residual sugar as it seems a trifle sweet on the finish...where I get a touch of pineapple juice and petrol.

  A pinot gris with grit.
  Clear, medium lemon color. Clean nose, with aromas of green and yellow apple, pear skin, slate. Dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium- body, medium+ intensity aromas, and a long finish that matches the nose.
  A light bit of tannin/tooth grit. Perhaps due to Van Duzer's wind!?
  Good now, hold a few years.
