I’m not typically a fan of Pinot, but I quite liked this one. Pours a vibrant red with great clarity. Pomegranate and eucalyptus with a touch of citrus. Nice fruit balance without being jammy or timid. Enough acid and tannins to give it some backbone. Probably more at home with paella than the steak that I had it with. Again, I’m not a Pinot fan, so this may not be representative the varietal. Definitely worth a try. I think Rosé and Cab fans alike will be able to appreciate this one.

IPNC Weekend 2018; 7/26/2018-8/2/2018 (Linfield College, McMinnville, OR): Medium red color plus. Drank a glass over an hour. Very different, blood orange on the nose, stems, dark red fruit, medium body, tart and tangy, more tannnin, but still sleek, good acid, mineral, almost kir like in some ways. Somedidn't like this at all. I found it intriguing in a good way.
