  A pleasant mouthful of plummy black fruit with soft velvety tannins and well balanced acidity. No faults and great value at the clearance price of £4.65

  Rough and lacking refinement, but drinkable nevertheless. Disappointing for a well-regarded carmenere producer. Not recommended as there are better for this price point.

  Colour: dark cherry red
  Nose: plum, blackberry, black cherry. Blueberry. Tobacco leaf, gooseberry. Sweet spice. Charred oak, mocha. Slightly jammy, but savoury.
  Palate: blueberry, blackberry, mulberry. Blackberry jam. Tobacco leaf, gooseberry. Charred oak, mocha. Rich, with some jammy character, but savoury. Moderate berry-like acidity, firm structural tannins, drying. Good, everyday wine with just enough complexity to be interesting. Full bodied, 13,5% alcohol.
