Tasted four hours after old wine decanter. Cork in great condition. Deep purple in the glass. Dark fruits including plums, blueberry, coffee and vanilla preference this wine on the nose. Smooth palate of cooked fruits, round tannins and long finish with tertiary notes including cigar box, leather and some liquorice. Nothing particularly noteworthy but quite enjoyable. Drink up.

Pours clear, beginning to brown at the rim. Heavy crust. Strong nose of plums, blackberries and Christmas cake. Long palate, of dark fruits, jubes, with a hint of liquorice. Nearing its end, but certainly not there yet.

Drank this bottle at a dinner with my wine mates at Chao Shan Cuisine to celebrate someone winning the lottery.
Dark red with a purple rim. Fresh plums, blackberries on the nose. Appreciating this wine is like taking a walk in the forest after the rain. Balanced with dark spices in the finish. The finish resembles a campfire in the wilderness in the night time, with cool breezes, notes of the camping grounds, tree back and rustling leaves.
