Medium gold/yellow color. Nose showing pears, flinty notes, and white flowers. Crisp palate of apple, pear, almonds, wet stone. Creamy texture, fruits persist through mid palate. Nice acidity. Medium weight and finish.
Really nice showing on this evening!

I thought this was very cool and interesting, but not what you'd expect from Meursault Perrieres... it had more of natural wine kinda vibe, rich and lots of acidity, quite tasty.

2014 - 2017 (Le Soufllot): Served next to the Boisson Vadot Genevrieres. Very different expression and definitely cooler and sleekier. Airy, very deep flinty and pure sweet fruits intermixed with roasted nut and cream. Lovely purity on the palate with very rich but weightless sweet fruits flowing on to the palate with really good grip and tension by the acidity and minerality. Excellent textural richness and mouthfeel. Very Long and sweet, this has got the impeccable balance and drinking very well already though I do expect slightly more acidity from the vintage.
Continued to taste the remaining wine in the bottle for next few days. Similarly this is holding well: complex, good precision and intense salinity.

Zurich Supper Club (London Finale) CVA/Christine/Andrew/Po Lin/Valerie, special guest Ethan! (67 Pall Mall - London, UK): Second wine of the evening, another generous contribution from CVA. Chilled, had been open for a bit prior to serving. Had this after the champagne and with the first course/salads.

Sweetness overwhelms notes of citrus, apples, and minerals. Great to drink today, but the extra sweetness makes me wonder where this wine is going.
