There's some lemon here, and honeyed florals with air, but the 2007 Perrières is primarily defined by minerality, both crushed stone on the nose and a firm minerality on the palate. Racey acidity. A classic white Burgundy best for purists.

Dinner in Burgundy (Ma Cuisine - Beaune): Lemon, lemon peel and even a bit of lemon custard. Massive minerality, this is only approachable because of fruit intensity, wonderful now but most likely better 2-4 years from now when less edgy.

Has some candied lemon notes along with pure white peach and a high tensile mineral spine. There’s flesh with restraint and it is precise and extremely long.

Light yellow. Much more lemony than its '06 compatriot. Lighter weight too with fruit that is still surprisingly ripe, but this retains a much greater degree of stoniness on the finish. Make no mistake, though; even in this vintage, this is not a severe style of Meursault. I prefer it to the version from the prior year but don't think it is at the top of the heap for this commune.
