Light gold color. Drank a glass from 375ml over 20 minutes. Had this before dinner along the shore of Lake Superior. Very fresh, steely, chalk and mineral driven, yeasty nose. Sour lemon, boldly chalky and loads of dry extract, yeast, and a long taut finish. Excellent, longs for food.

Mixed Wines at Margaux's Table (Margaux's Table, White Bear Lake, MN): Light gold color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. Had this a week ago from 375ml. This was from 750 with a base bottling of 2013 with about 65% of the blend, and the remaining 35% reserve wines dating to 1982 vintage. Disgorg March 2017 with a dosage of 6.5 g/l. I found this invigorating, fresh, mineral driven, green orchard fruits, pastry notes and quite steely and lifted. Even better than the the last half bottle from a 2016 base. While being underwhelmed by my first bottle a few years ago, this is now square in my wheelhouse and a definite rebuy.

This champagne is lively and mineral driven. There's some chaulk, relatively high acid, and slight sweetness.
