Medium straw color on the pour. This sparkling wine has notes of brioche, Walnut nuttiness, and most certainly an oxidative character. Roasted yellow fruit, yet since this is a 2014 still has a lot of sweet peach and pear cobbler influence on the pallet. Herbal finish, with a little bit of bitters and tart. Wow, this one is really a delight. Definitely more full body than I expected it to be, and has a very complex character. If you wanted to hold this wine for the next 3 to 4 years, you would have no problem in doing so whatsoever. But, it was the only one enjoyed tonight really without a accoutrement and did very well.

Popped a bottle in line with the release of the new vintage. Lemon and orange zest, pear skin, saline, fine bead and bright acid. Excited to try a bottle side-by-side with the late-disgorged version in the future

No formal notes, but this was really pretty. Probably one of the best UMs I've had.

disgorged Nov 18, 2018 - acidity was definitely much higher, a little more mineral, and more grippy on the palate.
