4th Saturday Brown Bagger (EBCC): Double blind. Aromas of dark fruit and plum, leather and herbs. Balanced, with abundant dark fruit and good supporting acidity. Finishes with plenty of fruit and good length. (V&M)

Agree with previous notes - needs time to open, then it is very nice, dark fruits, a little spice, maybe a touch of game/grilled meat even? Tannins are almost absent, very smooth, medium finish, very enjoyable!

Opened and immediately poured first round while also decanting the rest of the bottle. This wine needs air. Initially very thin body with short depth and finish. After an hour, the body started to fill in nicely. Good acid with nice fruit (plum). I believe additional time will result in an even better wine. 89-90.

Agree with the last review. Have never had this wine but bought some along with Zins in wine club and have to say this is a really nice wine. Rich plum/dark cherry and some herbal notes along with a touch of spice. Tannins are barely present and alcohol is resolved already which for the age is surprising. Crowd pleaser for sure and will be looking to add more for sure. Drink now over next 3-5 years not sure how this will age but so good now no need to wait.

Wow. This is an amazing wine! The petite sirah and Syrah come through and give this wine a very unique nose. Plum, BlackBerry, and spice are very prevalent, and the finish is long and enjoyable. Really, this is an awesome wine. On the list for our next wine club shipment
