  • A little burned out, tired and with zero motivation for doing anything in the kitchen... solution = call for a pizza followed by a nice glass of something italien and "Chianti-like". Chose this lovely Vino Nobile di Montepulciano from Podere Lamberto made from 80% Sangiovese and 20% Cananiolo. At first very closed, tight and with an overwhelming oaky note - oh oh :-/... Let it breathe for 1 hour and notes of prunes, vanilla and, tobacco start to emerge. The taste is soft, fruity and with a good acidity.
