Surprisingly complex! After pop, there is an extraordinary bouquet of floral and woody, but also rubbery and bitter-almond scents. Some reduction in there, too. On the palate, this is quiet tart with at least a medium body. I believe the wood influence continues with a bit of minerality and heavy yellow fruit in the background. Bit of bitterness (as one knows it from new wood). Day two the off-flavours were mostly gone and this got a bit less interesting. During our tasting night (which also included the 15 vintage), I liked this the most, for its complexity.

Leider hatte dieser 2017er bereits einen deutlichen Petrolton, der alles überlagert hat.
