Absolutely stunning bottle in a great place. Nice intensity in the nose and the palate with the tannins almost melting away, but still giving it some life. I would expect up to 3 more years before it goes downhill.
The fruit is a bit richer at this point, but still has a touch of old wood shed to give it some dimension.

YDROY sums it up well. PnP straight from cellar. After 30 mins was where it needed to be. Nice on nose. High acid/fresh. Red and some blue fruit. Low tannin but nonetheless nicely balanced. Slightly tart. Well made without being too messed around with. Will buy again. Day 2 after night in Ford he with cork in- has lost it. Tart manifests as bitter. Note: open and drink, don’t try to keep! Drink but no rush.

Slightly cooled and decanted for 1 hour. Fragrances of blueberry, raspberry, rhubarb purée, loam and a hint of smokiness. Nicely balanced and structured with a subbtle level of acids and tannins. On the palate red currant, blackberry, rhubarb, bay leaf. Medium finish gives blackberry, flint and some salty notes. Easy drinking Burgundy with a nice balance between primary and secondary notes. Worth repeating.

Bachelet/Monnot Bourgogne Rouge: expressive aroma with smoke, spice, cherry, sweet raspberry and a mesty quality. Overtones of violet. Nice mouthweight for a BR balanced by elegant acid structure, ripe and fresh fruit, and herbal notes. Elegant tannins. Medium long finish - mainly driven by spice and herbs. Fabulous quality for a basic Burgundy.
