  This 30th Anniversary bottle was a bit slow and flat footed. The very ripe fruit is beginning to show signs of being tired and flabby and the heavy mouth feel did nothing to move it along. Alcohol 14.5% wasn't a big deal since the sweet cooked flavors masked it effectively. We all tried to like this wine but eventually it just sat there in our glasses as everyone looked around for something else to drink. Managed to finish the bottle by the end but way more work than it should have been.
  
  Just not a wine that ages well (at least this particular bottling/vintage).
