  • Radiant bouquet that jumps out of the glass with notes of gooseberries and star fruit and herbs. The palate is super fresh and fruity, there is beautiful minerality and textural quality. Understated, fine acidity on the finish. A great Sauvignon Blanc, absolutely delicious. 17.5/20

  • A totally delicious Styrian Sauvignon Blanc (organic farming), sourced from the steep slopes (sandy-calcareous soils) of the Klausen vineyard (village of Straden, about forty kilometers south-east of the city of Graz). The wine was fermented spontaneously and aged in large oak barrels for twelve months. Pale straw-yellow in color with glints of green and a complex nose revealing intense aromas of elderflower, grapefruit, ripe paprika and some hints of cassis and lemon zest. The extremely well-balanced palate displays excellent depth, a fruity texture (gooseberry, mango, peach, passionfruit), an inviting minerality and a fine supporting acidity. Impressive finish. The wine gives great pleasure right now and probably three-four years on. Impossible not to like this wine.

  • pale golden / nose: intense, gooseberry, green apple, little passionfruit / palate: very nice balanced, medium+ acidity, medium bodied, good length, green apple, green bell pepper, kind of little lactic notes / overall: a excellent balanced Austrian Sauvignon Blanc. All aromas are very good integrated. With some potentials. 8,5/10 (special plus for balance) / additional: I forgot to close the bottle and let the rest uncorked in the fridge for 24 hours. What a surprise the next evening. The wine developed extremely well. So, I suggest to decant it and see what happens.

  • On the nose the wine is has a stream or brook side wet stone aroma. It is almost forest floor like but with some potpourri. On the palate the wine is intensely rich with peach and lime, and apricot all presented in a round mouthfeel. Finish is more floral then fruity and lingers on for 30 seconds. A serious wine which is worth finding.
