Retail $10. Under screw. 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Syrah, 4% Petit Verdot. I was sent this a few days prior to Halloween and, well, ... There was a bit of packaging to encourage sales, I presume, and well.. Another Chilean wine that performs far above its weight (meaning cost, duh). Fruity and fun on the palate with little need for introspection or reflection, the wine is balanced between fruit and acidity, has enough gumption to satisfy most, and is *extremely* friendly to the pocketbook. So, well? Giddy-up. thedrunkencyclist.com

Medium plus nose shows green tones, strong pyrazines, green pepper, roasted bell pepper, black plum, dirty earth. Palate less overt, fresh black fruit, blackberry, chocolate cherry, needs some fruit complexity, has good structure for the price point, medium plus tannins/alcohol. Solid choice for entry level, probably a little too green on the nose for the masses.
