Last of six. Lovely wine for my palette. It is quite cedary, leathery though, so if that isn't your thing, pass on it. Could have cellared for five more years, I'd think.

Solid Rioja. Medium ruby in the glass with hues of garnet appearing. Chunks of red and black fruit intertwined with oak, baking spices and whiffs of earth. Medium (+) body with ripe tannins, balanced acid and long finish. Could use a bit more depth though.

Earthy spices and nutty nose with black cherry, roasted cocoa and nuance of Camembert cheese. This needs at least an hours in the decanter for its aromatics to open up. The same nutty and earthy spicy notes followed through in the palate. Rich and deep but most of the flavours are hidden behind the structure now. A full throttle Rioja with the black fruit taking a backseat. Transition from the mid-palate to finish is not as seamless as I would have expected. Finish is also kind of rough. Wait for a few more years for the elements to harmonize. 88-90 pts.

Structured and broad displaying tar and autumn leaves against a core of prune and sweet spices. Full with extracted tannins that are a bit drying on its finish.

Lighter body than expected but jammy flavor. Blackberry notes.
