  • This sparkler, purchased in a 6-bottle packet of sparkling Italians, is quite primary in its fruit. This a simple white wine that has bubbles as extra. Nothing much in bready or yeasty taste, but simple yet quite dry. It is pleasant and does have a decent concentration. As said primary fruit dominates with mainly grape, some orchard fruit and what I remember as yellow cherries. For me it is similar to the easy drinking cava one often gets in large crowd receptions.

  • This is really delicious. Thick and creamy with lots of active little bubbles. The color is quite golden. The nose has yeast and something spicy like ginger or nutmeg. The viscosity is very heavy for a sparkling wine. The dosage seems to have a nutty, honey component. Very mouth filling and palate cleansing while still maintaining it's elegance. Lots of interesting little flavors on the finish like orange peel, apricot skin, and toffee.
