Pale lemon yelllow in the glass. Explosive nose that starts out green (tomato leaf, bell pepper), but mellows into more tropical/stone fruit as the wine warms up. Crisp, lean palate with a significant amount of flint. Tasted this side by side with a Marlborough SB. Has similar aromas, but the palates are very different. Not as sweet as its New World counterpart, but still highly approachable. A lot of Sancerre I've tasted was pretty subtle in the mouth, so this was a nice refreshment, dare I say "modern".

An anomaly from Sancerre and departure from flinty lemon grapefruit sour. Perriere has canned peach, apple, Bartlett pear, and sage. It is round texture which hides the underlying acid with flavors lychee, and Fuji apple. It could use some concentration, but has a plush and comfortable texture.

A bit dull and commercial, yet gluggable nonetheless
