Caroline Morey Chassagne Chaumees 2017. Meget intens nese av røykaktig mineralitet. Svært ung. Nydelig frukt og fyldig tekstur. Strammer seg flott opp med nydelig nerve. Lang finish med uttalt mineralitet. Nydelig vin. 92p

not blind, decanted for half an hour Reductive, popcorn, saline and straight forwarded. Needs really time but this reluctant freshness you are forced to empty your glas. 93-94

Tasted blind. Fiintly nose, mineralic with crunchy corn, lemon, reductive, Coche style. Medium- bodied, stays fresh and light. A really nice white Burg. I prefer this reductive style to the ones that are oppulent and oxidize. Well done.

Drank over several hours from bottle. Took quite a fair bit of air to open up. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of soapy white florals, wet stones minerality, fresh citrus, bit of acacia honey, and almond nut as it warms up. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of salty wet stones minerality, salted almond nuts, fresh citrus lemon, honeyed white peaches, layer of green apple and pear. Discreet touch of oak rounding this off into a salty long finish. Very good quality. Young yes, but already showing masterful balance. Will almost definitely evolve into something even more special.

Moderate aromas of reductive flint that were enjoyable. Great texture. Still young, but enjoyable, and in need of several more years.
