Coravin fun - Piedmont (My place, Kent Street): Medium minus intensity aromas of red cherry, slight baking spice, a little fruit tea, a little candied note. Pronounced acidity is a little sharp, sour red fruit, savoury underpin, drying, hard, slightly green tannins prove quite coarse textured, Not for me on this tasting.

Leaner but fruity and enjoyable. Modestly stern backbone. Drinking well for a lesser vintage. Perfect with prawn risotto (heavy on the leeks and cayenne).
