  Magnum. cork in excellent condition. Hand corked.
  The hue was compatible with age showing just a beginning of browning.
  Color is still fairly intense for 24 year old wine but not like a young Bandol.
  In retrospect the wine should have been decanted, but it was the first time I tried a wine this old from this producer.
  Great aromatics with spices, brambly fruit and earthy notes. Still a presence of tannins, so I suggest decanting.
  Great complexity and length. This producer consistently produces great red wines. Nice to try an older one.
