So, every Mazzocco wine we've had over the past dozen years or so has personified the quintessential "Big California Zin", which we have always loved. This Kenneth Carl is a different experience altogether. The best way I can describe it, in context, is to ask - can you remember the most refined, soft, ultra-premium glass of whiskey you have ever tried? Take that experience, and map it onto the Dry Creek Zin portfolio of wines, and I think you have the same thing here. This is a truly beautiful food wine, or free-standing, it doesn't matter. Share with family and close friends during a holiday dinner or other special occasion.
