  • 13% alcohol. Tasted blind.

Quite pale lime green color. Dry, cool and somewhat restrained nose, yet showing quite obvious ripeness with aromas of golden apples, some steely minerality, a little bit of white peach and a hint of leesy richness. The wine is moderately full-bodied, juicy and rather straightforward on the palate with bright flavors of steely minerality, some white peach, a little bit of red apples and a hint of quince. The moderately high acidity lends good freshness and sense of balance to the wine. The finish is lively and fresh, but also somewhat underwhelming with dry, quite light and a bit short flavors of fresh red apples, a little bit of creaminess and a hint of leesy richness.

A pleasant, pure and vibrant Chenin Blanc, but also one that suffers a bit from lack of depth and character. There's good freshness here, but overall the wine is a bit underwhelming and simple. A nice everyday quaffer, but not a wine to challenge the serious dry Chenins of Loire Valley.

    Long mais saturant.

  • Paille clair brillant.

  • Pronounced, creamy leesy, ripe citrus, orange, lemon, apricot, peach. High acid, long finish.
