Awesome. Brought it to a tasting blind and everything called cote de Beaune. Nice reductive gunflint and smoky notes, lemon, green apple, toast. High acidity. Does seem very young so some more bottle age won’t hurt.

Avalon restaurant (and Oocker) (Amsterdam, NL): [Restaurant purchase] No detailed notes, tasted blind. In the same flight as the PYCM and it couldn’t live up to that bottle, although it wasn’t blown away either. For me the great difference was the chunkiness of the acidity, as if it was not fully part of the wine. This did get better with more air. Lovely reductive note, lemon, good use of wood, some unripe tropical fruit. Medium+ acidity, long finish

This is lovely stuff, even though I normally don't go for Chardonnay. Lots of lemon, unripe pineapple, elegant use of oak, some flint. Acidity is quite high (especially for Chardonnay), but I like that.

blind
The grape variety was easy to detect but I was more in Burgundy. Not too oaky and not too creamy. Good acidity. Starting to make fun. 91

Nervy. Edgy. High quality. Acidity perhaps needs a little longer to balance out.
