2022 Port Harvest Tour; 9/22/2022-10/2/2022 (Porto, Portugal): Bottled in 2018. This wine is dark purple in color with garnet on the edges. There are some primary fruit notes on the nose with noticeable Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca characteristics. It is surprisingly smooth on the palate but with enough grip on the mid-palate still present. It has a nice, long finish. This wine is still young. It will likely be great in three to four years after it has had a little more time to integrate.

Beeswax and old plastic toy nose. Icebox. Rough and feisty on the palate. Meat and hummus comes out. Odd structure that doesn’t resolve. Has a personality, but not working for me.
