It's first when I opened it it was overwhelming acidity which made it seem like it was way over the hill but still drinkable. That quickly blew off within 15 minutes of aeration. Nice smoke Earth Plum Cedar with a hint of lead pencil on the bouquet and palate. Good concentration. Nice long finish. Well this is past its peak it will likely have a very slow Decline and be enjoyable for another few years. I would recommend drinking now but if you wanted to to hold on to it to taste it at 20 years old I think you could make it. 12.5% ABV. Delicious. Highly recommended. A wine that proves that you can have good kosher Bordeaux that is age worthy for not much money. I think the petit verdot gives Jean Guyon wines age ability and complexity with age

Overwhelming classic damp musty cardboard smell. So much so I did not even bother to taste. Textbook corked
