  Used a Vinturi instant decant. Deep, bright, black-garnet color. Blackberry and currant on the nose, with graphite, smoked paprika, clove, black tea and potpourri. Concentrated yet expressive & fresh black fruit on the palate, round and very refined, with seamless secondary depth of tobacco & cedar, spices, florals and melted stone. Elegant, expansive density in the mid-palate, framed with integrated medium acid and fine, supple, broad tannins, finishing with lingering concentrated depth. Very young and powerful, but showing excellent integration and balance. Drink/hold.

  Really full and green. Reminds me a lot of the 2014 vintage. Chalky and mouth coating, dusty. Could go another 5 years in cellar. Intense cherry and blueberry. Long finish. Well done.
