In the decanter for an hour prior to drinking, probably could have done with two. Dark and dense, but not overwhelming. Baked ripe black and purple cherries and other berry fruits, meaty with peppery edge. Tannins do soften from initial powdery texture leaving a decent, juicy ish medium + finish. Quite enjoyed this.

Brought this to Little Sheep Hot Pot @ Suntec Singapore for a meeting and dinner with The ETCeteras. Paired this with the roasted lamb and beef/lamb/pork shabu shabu.
Decanted for an hour to resolve the resilient tannins.
Dark purple with notes of wild violets, rich plums and ripe cherries and berries. A soft middle core with a smooth finish. Good structure with a solid backbone.
Nothing really wring with this wine; nothing really outstanding to shout about either.

Live cooking and virtual wine tasting with Nelson Müller and Collectors Wine World, organized by American Express.: Wine 3 of 4. Dark ruby colour. Ripe, sweet mixed berries, dark cherry, blackberry, lilac, complex herbal notes and spices, with a touch of CO2, medium-level acidity, sandpapery tannin and good length of the drying finish. Restrained. A quality CdR, and a true baby CdP, just less juicy and a little less concentrated. Needs time; hold for at least five years. 89+

Great depth and intensity of dark fruits. There's an engaging note of something akin to passionfruit skins. It has some freshly cracked pepper and meat and earth too. It is complex and engaging, with serious tannic backbone. Length is outstanding. Should age very well.

Supermarket plonk, and at a non supermarket price. Overally sweet, without backbone, and boring.
