Somewhat better than last time I tried it but still overshadowed by Ramnista. A tad slim mud-palate but the nose remains a strong point as is the case with almost every decent xin.

Medium ruby. Medium intensity scents of red cherries, dried tomato, leather and cedar. Medium + body, structured with high acid, tannins that are a tad stiff and need time to mellow, dry and long. A bit on the rustic side for Alpha and Amyndeon, reminding me more of a Naoussa. Needs time. 89-90

Special and definitely deserves the double barrel surname. We did not decant nor did we fell it needs it at this time. Xinomavro is a bit of a Syrah/Pinot even nebbiolo hybrid and sort of flt like it, soft yet with presence, ripe but in no way heavy or dense. Light spice on the nose, violet touches, dark fruits. Elegant and complex on the palate, nice depth of flavor and full of charm. Definitely has a tipicity and its good to see this level of wine making at Greek estates, well made, touch modern but very much Xinomavro. At the start of its drinking window and with good life ahead. 91

Modern style, with good structure and noticeable tannin. Some oak but after six years this is perfect.
