The 2017 Lachini S and the 2016 Angela, Angela Vinyard were our Thanksgiving wines. Both, very similar prototypical Oregon Pinots. The Lachini, a little longer finish, the Angela slightly bigger. Here we have two cherry laden, medium weight, mature Pinots, very Burgundian in style. Helped make a spectacular holiday.

Very good. Like the style, complexity, and balance; only wish there is more intensity and a longer finish. This still might get there….

Cola, root beer, and raisens. Tastes old and oxidized but not dead. Disappointing considering I typically adore this vintage in the Willamette.
New winemaker has thankfully changed the game at Angela.

Attractive barnyard notes over dark cherry
Significantly developed over two years, complexity building as fruit integrates

Steadily improving, lots of minerality and tart red fruits…looking for equilibrium and balance. Upside potential.
