Had it in a flight of six nebbiolos (including Gaja Barbresco). This is really the best value you can get. Surprisingly aromatic. Fresh sour cherries and some oak. Clean. Excellent with dishes in the Italian cuisine.

Fontanafredda Trade Tasting (Fullerton Hotel - Grand Cru Wine Concierge): Pale garnet. Aromas that remind me of a fresh rose bush, and even a bit of clay earth. While having a good measure of fresh acids, the tannins proved quite grippy. Some redcurrant, red cherry, grass, pepper, nutmeg

Got that lighter red nebbiolo colour. Pleasant aromas of medium intensity. Cherry, plum herbs, liquorice, black pepper and oak. Some stable notes. Prominent acidity. Medium body and finish. It’s mostly the tannins that linger. Difficult to get a better nebbiolo for this price.
