  • ‚Les Sorts Sycar’ is a blend of 40 % Syrah and 60 % Carinyena (as the name suggests) that was aged for thirteen months in 80 % French and 20 % American barriques (second use). Color: dark ruby-red with long legs. Bouquet: enchanting scents of blueberry, violets, dark chocolate, roasted coffee and thyme. On the palate: quite a powerful but elegant wine with ripe black cherry and plum fruit, good depth and well-integrated tannins. Finish: convincing aftertaste. A wine with high drinkability. Enjoy it now and over the next 4–5 years.

  • Priorat wine fair 2019 (and related events); 5/2/2019-5/9/2019 (Tarragona and various places in Priorat): Medium garnet in colour. Balsamic and spicy tones on the nose. In the mouth caramel, vanilla and red fruits. Oak is evident. A bit disjointed to me. Average.
