This is a yummy wine! I opened it about four hours before dinner and decanted it. Then I double decanted it and that helped reduce the acidity. SO full bodied - full of fruit, some pepper and still has lots of acidic balance. Lots of years left on this baby!

From a 3L. Being from a big bottle, this was still quite young. Softer than the 2015, this lacked the spice usually found in Basilisk. Tasty and enjoyed by all six of us, with a touch of earth. Again, soft and smooth. Cherry, slate, and a hint of barnyard. If you have a regular bottle, this should be ready to go.

Boy does this one need some air time! It is still really tight and a bit acidic. After fours it started to soften a little. Then the big cherry fruits came out and the acidity dampened

Another wonderful Grenache from Keplinger. Drank on Day #2 and it was rich, deep and smooth with a bright finish. Big thumbs up!
