  Had a glass in a restaurant. The first glass I was off, so I asked for another one from a different bottle. It was better, but still not 100% sure if that bottle wasn't off as well. So, notes might not accurately describe this wine.
  
  Deep garnet with red fruit and spicy tobacco on the nose. Medium body with medium to low acidity and low tannins. In the mouth, some red fruit, spice, tobacco and maybe a touch of dark chocolate and lots of potting soil and pencil shavings. Short finish. Just meh for me and I usually like red zins.

  They market this as a 99 point wine, not sure it is quite that high, I think 90 is more reasonable. However again well made with good fruit purity and a spicy if not long finish.
