Opened the bottle and had a last pour in the glass... closed, some fruits (distant), light leather notes, some freshness... a decent 88/100. 2 hours have gone, and it's a whole lot of a different. It's very balanced and fill your palate. It's made if crushed/mushed red fruits, vanilla notes, the leather/tobacco leaf finish is there too. The wine has reached maturity but clearly deserves decanting and reach 18°c to open up and deliver. 93 is to be conservative

This was very interesting. About 50% Syrah blend brings out a lot of smokiness and strangely enough a lot of meatiness…almost like beef jerky flavors. Definitely get dark fruit, and some earthy notes as well. Tannins are moderate and acid is balanced. This would be a great wine for grilled meats, bbq, etc. Overall very enjoyable but a bit specific in its pairing capability.

Requires 1 hour decanting.
Still room to develop!
